I personally grew up here in the small town of Sebastopol. Eventually, my dad taught me how to fly right here at his local flight school at the Sonoma County Airport.

We’ve traveled the world from the deserts of the Kalahari in Africa to the icebergs of the North Pole. While we’ve been all over the world, every time we returned from our trips, we began to realize the beauty of our own backyard . . .

the majestic redwoods, beautiful Pacific Ocean, the rivers, valleys, mountains . . . the spirit and energy of what we call the “Wine Country”.

We are very blessed to live and share with other locals this magical piece of land on Earth. We invite visitors to come to the area whether it’s for business, work or play.

With the increase of people living, working and traveling to and from Sonoma County a need arose to fill the demand for air service in 2007.

Some ask “Why Fly Santa Rosa?”
It’s more affordable to fly out of your own backyard now. With the increase in airport delays, traffic congestion and headaches it brings… it’s become too much of a hassle to fly out of OAK and SFO.

We are excited to finally announce convenient direct flights at the Sonoma County Airport via Horizon Air to:

• Los Angeles
• Seattle
• Portland (as of Oct. 28th)

... and hopefully new cities to be added next year!

Our goal is to help connect people like you - resident and visitors alike - who are traveling to and from the California Wine Country. Each week, we provide you with travel tips, community events, exclusive local specials, and more to save you time and money...

all with the plan of making travel to or from this area more rewarding and convenient.
